Our these IR headphones can be used with IR transmitter (not included) for home use with products such as portable DVD players, computers, tablets or televisions. If you want to purchase IR transmitter for home use, you can find our Simolio IR Transmitter by searching B07HQGXFGR or B07CVVCFHQ, which are available now. **Q: Will these work with a Range Rover Evoque rear screens?** A: If your car came with the Infrared units (universal Infrared frequencies: CH A: L/2.3MHz,R/2.8MHz; CH B: L/3.2MHz,R/3.8MHz) to send signal to these Infrared wireless headphones then they should be well worked. If it uses bluetooth or some other technology these would not work. **Q: I bought a pair for my xtrons car dvd which has ir transmission. the light turns green on b but no sound whatsoever. any ideas?** A: So sorry for this inconvenience. And here we propose some suggestions for your reference as below: 1. If it’s the first time for you to use universal IR headphones and experience no sound, most are caused by frequencies deviation (non-universal). Pls check IR sensor frequencies of your car DVD player and make sure they are compatible with these headphones (CH A:L/2.3MHZ,R/2.8MHZ; CH B: L/3.2MHZ,R/3.8MHZ),or you will need to return these headphones and purchase the original ones. 2. If your car DVD’s IR frequencies are universal, pls pay attention to the IR transmitting angle & distance. There maybe no sound or cracking if too far away, or not in sight of IR transmitter, this is the limitation of the IR system type, not the product itself. 3. Be sure to switch the headphone to the same channel as the car DVD’s IR transmitter. 4. Set the volume of your audio device (e.g., car DVD player, PC or TV etc.) to a sufficient level to ensure steady sound signal, or sound will cut out. Hope they are helpful for you, if you still have the issue, please feel free to contact us through support_uk(at)simolio(dot)com, we're always standby to assist you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 April 2025* Absolutely brilliant product. Bought a 2007 grand voyager that had an entertainment system in it but didnt come with headphones. Was recommended this product to try out and works a treat!! Just stuck the batteries in and chose the channel and it connected instantly no hassle. Volume is great and blocks out outside noise so can still listen to my radio whilst the kids enjoy a film. Would highly recommend this product great for the price!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ideal replacement for Volvo,s own at a fraction of the price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 August 2023* Replaced headsets for 2011 Volvo XC90 factory provided system. Loads of volume and worked perfectly so grand children are ecstatic. Put the batteries in, switched on and they operating immediately. Volvo wanted £140 each for their own brand so two for under £50 seemed to good to be true but sometimes you just find a winner! Unlike the Volvo headsets these fold into a very compact package and have their own carry bag. No more arguments as each bag is labelled! Comes with 'jack' lead so can be used for other devices. Ear phones are definitely 'child size' but useable by an adult. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great value alternative to replacing my Volvo headsets *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 May 2024* I bought these to replace the tired headsets for my Volvo entertainment system. The official Volvo ones are between £90 - £120 EACH! These are the ideal alternative as they connect instantly to whichever screen you're in front of.The headsets are lightweight, easily adjustable and comfortable. My children enjoy wearing them and don't have any issues to keep them in place. When not in use they fold up really well and come with individual fabric bags to keep them safe and clean. My only suggestion would be to make it more obvious which is the left and right each, maybe with a coloured insert as the letter is quite hard to spot. ## Frequently Bought Together - SIMOLIO 2 Pack of Wireless Car Headphones, 2 Channel IR Wireless Headphones for Kids, in Car DVD Headsets with Storage Bag for Vehicle Universal Rear Entertainment System, Not for 2017+ Pacifica - Replacement Remote Control for Honda Odyssey Elite/Touring/EX-L/EX Rear Entertainment DVD 39560-THR-A020-M1 39560THRA020 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/88367336-simolio-infrared-headphones-2-pack-ir-headsets-for-car-dvd](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/88367336-simolio-infrared-headphones-2-pack-ir-headsets-for-car-dvd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
