They are made of that Mylar materiel. The materail they are made of is not the same as I remember. They look nice. I just felt swindled because I got so few for $12.00. It is one small package. **Q: These are connected which made it difficult for me to hang my traditional way. I had to tear apart. They are easy to wrap around, and fluff. I wrapped the tree just like garland. Don’t wrap real tight, so icicles can hang nicely. I also combed through icicles once placed, with my fingers, gently. I used 4 packs for a 7 foot tree. You need that many. I am 100% happy! Reminds me of the 70’s look of icicles, but so much easier. Please buy! Don’t hesitate! Just get enough packs. I would say for and 8.9 foot tree, you would need at least 6-7 packs. It’s worth it. I think I can nicely fold up and store for next year! Totally reusable, unlike the individual old fashioned ones. My only problem is, my cat 🐈‍⬛ likes to bite the strands at the bottom. lol. You will need a staple remover to get the staple out of the packed wrap. Please watch my video and see pics!!
