Product description Caputo's semolina re-ground ('rimacinata') durum wheat flour has been milled twice to produce a finer flour than most semolinas. Semolina flour is made from a rougher variety of wheat and has a distinctive yellow colour. As it is a coarse flour it is considered to be healthier than fine white flour Semolina contains more carbohydrates, proteins and fibre than white flour which is rich in simple carbs but without fibre and protein. Semolina flour is recommended for certain traditional homemade pastas and breads adding structure and bite, and wherever the yellow colour, special texture and flavour of semolina are desired. Ingredients Durum Wheat Semolina Regrind Directions Use for fresh pasta dough or bread dough. Mix with water and other ingredients as per recipe instructions.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anybody tried to use this flour with manual pasta maker machine? If yes then does this flour should be mixed with another one of different type?**
A: You don’t need to add any other flour, just this four (semola or semolina). You just need 1/2 of liquid per semolina quantity; for instance 200g of semola for 100g of liquid (I use eggs, but you can use a mixture of eggs and water or water for pasta shapes that requires more body). It is hard to knead, so if you need just add a bit more water to your hand. Rest the dough for 30min and then proceed to make whatever pasta you like. I have found that flour quite good and forgiven to mistakes.

A: I bought this in January 2020 and best before date is 11th June 2020. You can ask the seller to be sure.

**Q: Do you receive two packs of 500g.. or two packs of 1kg please?**
A: I received 2 packs of 1Kg (2Kg in total)

**Q: Has anyone used this to make bread? Do you mix with bread flour also?**
A: I have made Pizza, which is practically the same as making bread, I added some strong white flour, and it was heavenly light. I don't think you will be disappointed!
