All I've ever used on my previous phones are true carbon fiber cases. I like them because they are thin, very durable and usually have a bit of a grip on them, which by the way is my only downside. My preferred carbon fiber case is the PIKATA carbon fiber case. Ive had their Note 8 and S9 Plus cases and they are top notch. I like the fit and finish and as a bonus they also have a built in metal plate for their magnetic mounts. BUT after numerous e mails to them, They decided NOT to make a case for the Note 9 because they claim its NOT a popular enough phone???? WHAT? The note 9 is just as popular as the iPhone X is, if not more popular. They lost some serious business by not making a case for the note 9, but whatever, their loss.So i waited and waited and waited, and then Simply Carbon Fiber just released their Ghost CF case. So I'm like, finally someone is making a TRUE CF Case, only what, 4 months after the release of the Note 9. So I immediately dished out $54.00 and ordered it up. The case came fast and i opened it up and went to put it on, guess what? It didn't fit. I tried everything but it wouldn't fit on my Note 9. So i contacted them to see if maybe they sent me the wrong case since nothing really lined up on it either. At that point I went back and forth with Simply Carbon Fiber for a week strait. They wouldn't send me out a replacement to see if they sent me the wrong case. Something was definitely up with the way they handled that whole situation. I believe they were probably made in China and never tested before they shipped them out to customers. They finally refunded me , but only after I threatened to make a youtube video on how bad the case was and why they took so long to resolve the issue.At this point I was ready to just give up on finding someone who made a carbon fiber case. I did one last browse on the internet, and low and behold this one showed up. It was on prime so I knew i wouldn't have a problem returning it like the last one I had. It came today and the fit is perfect. Snapped right on with no problem. My only complaint is like most of my other carbon fiber cases, they had a bit of a rough feel to them, giving me a grip of sorts. Well this one is pretty smooth and not very grippy. But im not complaining after waiting so long for a simple true carbon fiber case. Its been a long stressful road, that has finally came to an end.
