Review: A great socket for you alloy wheel nuts 'n' bolts - I bought this as the garage that serviced my brakes must have put the wheel on with an impact wrench - sooo tight! Trying to remove the bolts to change the wheels (to ones with winter tyres) I broke my old chrome vanadium 17mm socket on a bar, and needed a new socket, and Wiesmann seems to have a good reputation for build quality so bought one of these. So far it's functioned well with the plastic sleeve providing good protection to the wheels; didn't cost the earth (compared to a SnapOn socket) so was decent value for money; hopefully being made of chrome molybdenum it's not as brittle as the old one and is more durable, and fits my 1/2" wrench and torque wrench OK (so I can tighten the nuts to the correct torque and not go nuts with an impact gun!!)

The plastic coating protects the rim surface of the wheel bolts from scratches. Maximum torque 17mm=575 Nm, 19mm=650 Nm, 21mm= 650 Nm.
