Suitable for freshwater and saltwater, it requires a 12V deep cycle marine battery (60Ah+). This motor ensures quiet, efficient propulsion with weed escape functionality, making it ideal for serious anglers and leisure boaters seeking reliable, hands-free navigation.

This extremely quiet motor has a digital maximizer control module and water cooling system that supply only the necessary power this motor needs in order to go the desired speed making the motor more efficient and providing longer running times. The boater will be able to, more effectively, control the boat speed in changing environments as well. The motor's "Soft Start" function helps to increase the motor's life through limiting how fast the motor can go from "OFF" to "ON." The Intex Trolling Motor is compatible with most inflatable boats that have built-in motor mount fittings. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Pounds of thrust**
A: The owners manual says 40lbs ot thrust. Hope that answers your question.

**Q: does the come with the battery connectors cords?**
A: Yep

**Q: What battery will be best for this in the excursion 5**
A: I am not a professional expert, but I understand that batteries are either engineered to deliver a short period of high current (a car battery), or a sustained steady current (marine). When I visited Walmart (batteries should be purchase locally for safety) batteries were clearly marked as such, but more point-of-sale information would have even welcome. Incidentally, my research did indicate that regular maintenance was crucial to obtain an optimal life. Have fun with your boat, and stay out of that cursed weed!

**Q: does it come with the mount**
A: No it does not come with the motor mount. That you have to buy seperate
