It’s the same price, with subscribe and save, as a loaf of bread from the store but so much fresher. I originally bought it based on ease of use and convenience, who doesn’t love fresh bread?The other day I found out it’s actually foolproof. I started a loaf in my bread machine and for some unknown reason the power went out on just the bread machine. I decided to plug it in to another socket and start over even though the bread dough was already mixed and gone through a rising cycle. It had actually risen to the top of the pan and I had no hope of getting a good loaf. I was more interested in testing the bread machine to make sure it wasn’t the problem.Turns out the bread dough was still good. Even with starting from the beginning it didn’t turn out doughy or tough. It actually produced an excellent loaf. I had no idea how long it sat but was pleasantly surprised that it worked out.
