Review: Great, but small for a teen - We packed this small kickboard for our trip to Mexico, and it was a great addition to the vacation. Because of its compact size, it was incredibly easy to pack into our luggage and carry to the pool and beach every day. My son loved using it in the ocean. He is 13 and it was a bit small for him but it still let him body surf the waves. Overall, it is perfect for travel and gave us just enough help in the water without taking up too much suitcase space.
Review: good for kids - We got this in pink and blue - they keep kids afloat when kicking (we have an almost 5 year old weighing approx 35 lbs and 8 year old weighing 50lbs). For adults, they aren't going to keep you up or provide much support. In our experience, the thicker pool noodles work better for adults. We do expect these will last longer than a pool noodle tho! We've also had them for a couple months and colors haven't faded or run (other brands have).

A: It is 1" thick.

**Q: I'm thinking to tie a few around the pool as a ramp in case the cat falls in.  would the cat be able to grab on to pull itself up?**
A: There are actually products intended for this specific purpose that will work much better - just google "pool ramp." They're usually intended for frogs and smaller animals, but I'm sure it would save a cat in a pinch - maybe just tie it to the edge rather than using only the weight/gravel.

This kickboard works exactly as expected. I've had it for quite some time now and use it regularly when I swim at my local park pool. It's lightweight, easy to handle in the water, and provides good support for kick drills and swimming practice. Despite regular use, it has held up well and still looks and functions great.
