So for side-by-side the images are vertically stretched. **Q: Does it take 4 1080p inputs and outputs a 4k of the combined 4 1080p inputs ?** A: It outputs a maximum of 1080p whether you are displaying 1 input or 4. The screen says its displaying each at 1080p but my monitor shows that it’s only receiving a combined 1080p signal.
