This selfie stick is very sturdy and well made compared to the many cheap and wobbly ones out there. It transforms into a very neat tripod - I love the design and functionality of this. The detachable remote connects easily to my iPhone via bluetooth and proves to be very useful for group shots. My only concern is whether the tripod, being so lightweight, can withstand windy conditions but I do not intend to use it during harsh weather anyway. In terms of hold capacity, it can hold my partner's iPhone 6 and my iPhone 8 Plus without a problem. To this end, using either the iPhone's camera app or the 3rd party FilmIC, it performed well once i'd set the iPhone to use the volume buttons to activate the camera.The build quality is quite solid, and the blutooth functions perfectly with the iPhone XS Max.But BEWARE, the little blutooth remote can easily fall out of the handle once the stick is extended.
