We have had a few minor spills and they were wiped up easily. They did not seem to penetrate the foam. **Q: Is the fabric breathable to let air escape when jumped on, or if a child suddenly jumps on it does it feel like jumping onto an air-filled balloon?** A: It is something in between but closer to the air-filled balloon. Kids love it. **Q: Is the foam made from Latex? We have a Latex allergy in the house that is life threatening.** A: The Crash Pad foam comes from a variety foam suppliers. Its then cut into small strips and cubes, and inserted into a nylon outer skin. Sometimes the suppliers will ship trace amounts latex foam mixed in with the regular foam, but the amount is insignificant.
