**Q: Do these have a brake (lock) please?**
A: Yes these have a brake. One the you need to check is where they will fit under your appliance. I used these on a fridge freezer and the rear foot was not directly behind the front foot so the runner is at an angle. As long as I move the FF slowly the roler stays in place but it does tend to slip out as it is not running in a straight line. It not an issue with the roler it the position of the feet that is causing the issue.

**Q: Thank you for that, good advice, will look under the cooker first!  How does the brake work, or is it just the weight of the cooker that stops it movi**
A: It's a friction brake on the front roller (wheels). It's not the strongest ( you could still pull out your cooker with them on )but will stop it moving during normal use, my washing machine stays put during it's spin cycle for example or if you try to open the door while it's locked.

**Q: Would this work with an American style fridge freezer - about 65cm deep? Also how much do they raise the height of the appliance?**
A: I couldn't say if they would work with an american fridge freezer best to ask the seller that question. I would ask the question of how high they raise the appliance of the seller too, we didn't end up using the wheels

**Q: Are they adjustable lengthwise. What is the minimum and maximum length**
A: Yes adjustable sorry don't know mim and max.  I have a standard size fridge/freezer which l use wheels for
