They're small enough to fit almost anywhere, yet the display is large and easy to read at a glance. The humidity readings have been consistent and make it easy to know when it's time to recharge or replace the desiccant, which helps keep my filament in great condition. They've become an essential part of my 3D printing setup. One unexpected bonus was that each unit came with a spare battery. That was a nice surprise and shows the manufacturer put some thought into the customer experience. If you're into 3D printing or just need a reliable way to monitor temperature and humidity in small spaces, I can definitely recommend these. Great value for the price! Review: Cheap pair keeps the filament dry and me sane - Both went straight into the filament dry boxes next to the desiccant. They read within a couple percent of each other then my dryer, which is all I need to know when to recharge the beads, and the display is legible even in dim light. Two months in, no drift, no dead unit, no falling apart, which is more than the low-star reviews would have you fear. Only nit is the button cell batteries, plan on replacing them yearly. For a filament shelf this is honest value; for a cigar humidor, buy something calibrated and certified. ## Features - 1-【Widely Application】The digital LCD monitor can be used in home, office, garage, schools, hotels, laboratories, kindergartens, aquaculture, instrument workshop, warehouse, reptile tank terrarium, aquarium, hermit crab habitat, and other places where temperature/humidity measurement is required. - 2-【Fast Response】Built in sensitive sensor that measures every 10 seconds with 24 sensitive VENTS to provide updated and accurate readings, wide measuring range: work temperature from 0℃ to 70℃(+32°F ~ +158°F), work humidity from 10% to 99% RH. - 3-【Healthy Living Monitor】This portable thermo-hygrometer Measures Indoor humidity and temperature in time, help to adjust the humidifier, dehumidifier settings and humidistats, great for monitoring family's living conditions and health by preventing colds, dry skin, great for your work and life. - 4-【Fahrenheit/Celsius】The Temperature display can achieve the mutual conversion between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C). Also, if you also need a dehumidifier, I will recommend this mylinskin brand, search for 'Mylinskin dehumidifier'. **Q: Is it water proof? Want to use it in my snakes terrarium but not sure if it will handle when it gets misted** A: It should be fine for in your snake’s terrarium as long as it’s not submerged. I use these for my crested gecko’s terrarium and I’ve misted straight onto this device and it’s totally fine. Obviously the humidity will go up quickly when you spray directly onto it but The device itself will be completely fine **Q: What is the process of calibrating this gauge?** A: There is no calibration. Only Celsius and Fahrenheit switch **Q: Can i use this for my cigars?** A: Yes!
