It was slightly warped, so the center was higher than the outsides. The channel is a flimsy plastic, I am not sure why I thought it would be metal.

This linear drain was a big disappointment.  Especially for the price. Very thin grate and feels and looks cheap.  Installation was easy otherwise I would have given it one star.  If my plumber hadn't needed it right then I would have returned it in a heartbeat.
