Even the action when opening and closing the blade works and sounds the same. Although not the same quality as the real switch blade. Has the same style safety as the real one but it is very loose and does not work well but who cares, it's a comb. The metal parts are stainless but a little tinny and the black part of the handle is a light weight plastic. But still a great novelty comb that works and looks like the real thing. And for under $5 you can't go wrong. If it does eventually break after all my constant opening and closing, I will definitely get another one.
