It was in 1985 that Oldsmobile brought back the famous 442 Nameplate. It featured a 307 cu. In. Engine rated at 180 horsepower. In the special FE3 x show car, bill Porterfield took additional steps to boost the performance. For handling, he increased the spring rates, balanced the anti roll bars and lowered the ride height. For aerodynamics, a dramatic full body skirt system was created. The FE3 x was finished off with many horsepower improvements under the hood.
