Please could someone explain exactly how best to do this??** A: Thanks for buying the coffee and for the query. It works very well in a cafetière. I make my daily mid morning brew every day in a cafetière. If you are using ground coffee I make this in a cafetière as follows: 1. Empty kettle and fill with 500 ml water (one of those plastic bottles of water is usually 500ml). The best water to use is Waitrose own or volvic but any filtered water will be ok. 2. Boil kettle and once boiled open lid for 2 minutes - this brings temperature down before pouring over coffee. 3. Pour a little bit of the water in kettle into cafetière and swill around to warm cafetière up. Empty this water. 4. Place 2 heaped tablespoons coffee in cafetière and pour one coffee cup of the kettle water over. Stir 3 times. 5. Wait around 4-5 minutes and then plunge caffetiere. 5. Pour into coffee cup and top with milk if desired if you are having normal coffee. Or blend with one tablespoon mct oil and butter or ghee to make bulletproof coffee. Hope this helps. It’s a great daily ritual! Let me know if you have any more questions. **Q: Is this coffee grown at high altitude?** A: Hi. Yes it is. In Nicaragua. **Q: Is it organic?** A: Hi. It’s rainforest alliance assured coffee and lab Tested to co firm zero pesticides. The farmer does follow organic practices but is not organic certified. We buy the whole crop so work with the farmer. **Q: Hi, just bought some, once opened where to store? And how long does it last, thanks on advance** A: Hi Rob. You can squeeze air out and use the zip lock on the bag to store in cool dry place. Thanks. Jamie ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Coffee *by A***A on 26 August 2026* Excellent coffee, strong enough, smooth, no bitterness and Mycotoxin free too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this coffee! *by A***R on 23 September 2025* This is a deeply smoky, dark roast coffee with a good caffeine hit that isn't over powering. Love the dark bitter chocolate, woody flavours and the health benefit of being tested for mycotoxins. Works well in a Moka pot. I subscribe to make sure I don't run out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rich and smooth *by B***T on 24 April 2021* My first time trying out this coffee and I'm happy. My only warning is not to drink at 2pm like I did one day and was then up half the night! Best to drink decaf after 12:30 pm!! Loving Bullet proof style coffee. This is how I enjoy it: 600 ml fresh coffee (2 heaped tablespoons of ground coffee in 600ml water) 1.5 tablespoons grass fed organic ghee 1.5 tablesppons of MCT8 2 tablespoons of Waitrose organic double cream 1 tablespoon Acacia fibre powder Half teaspoon organic cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon of Navi organics tonic gold mushroom powder 1 teaspoon Birch xylitol 1 teaspoon of organic raw cacao powder Shake of monk fruit powder Large pinch of pink sea salt Totals around 550 calories and acts as a replacement for breakfast and sees me through without needing to eat at least 4 or 5 hours. The big benefit is this drink has next to no protein or carbs ... most of the calories are derived from fat, so your insulin isn't raised. And it's insulin that tells the body to store fat. I blend the above in a glass vacuum blender and wow, super rich and satisfying! Enjoy! ## Frequently Bought Together - Lean Caffeine Nicaragua Ground Coffee | Super Clean Mycotoxin Free Bulletproof Coffee | Dark Roasted, Low Acid Keto Coffee - 908g - Lean Caffeine Bulletproof Decaf Ground Coffee 908g | Super Clean Mycotoxin, Pesticide & Heavy Metal Free Bulletproof Coffee | Swiss Water Decaffeinated Ground Coffee - EXHALE Organic Ground Coffee - 450G PACK - Mycotoxin Free Single Origin and 100% Arabica Beans.
