Again, just a regular "catching-a-frisbee" motion. These are really over-priced and not the sturdiest things but fun nonetheless. We like to stack several of them and then throw them out to a group of players. Or to one person who tries to swoop up as many as possible before they fall. Anyway, I think we'll stick to the unbreakable Aerobie from now on. **EDITED REVIEW** After I left my original review, the seller reached out to me and replaced the frisbees at no charge. They said the splintering should not have happened. So I upgraded from 2 stars to 4 for customer service and the fact that I actually really like these frisbees!
