As long as you have the space to set it up in it can go anywhere you want it too. My Boyfriend and I have been camping for over 20 years and this is the best tent we have ever had :) **Q: When did Coleman start selling tents without rain fly's?** A: I do a lot of camping and at times with a lot of other people. I have seen Coleman, Wenzel, REI, Ozark etc all leak when it rains and it’s usually to not knowing how to setup a tent. Where to place the tent and just not having basic camping skills. For 20 years I have had 2 Coleman tents that have been thru 60 mph winds. Hailstorms and such. I can loan a tent to a friend he gets wet and I use the same tent and stay dry. It all starts with placement and staking the 4 corners correctly. **Q: It's not waterproof ok, what about dust in a desert environment? would the inside be full of dust after a week ?** A: I took the 6 person version to Burning Man in 2019 and if held up fine even in the dust storms. I kept the top vents open and cut out some filter from an air conditioner filter.
