I have no way to actually measure the difference other than the feel against the lighter's spark wheel, though. **Q: What is the diameter of these flints in mm?** A: There are no dimensions printed on the packaging. However, the diameter is about 1mm or so. I would not use these flints in anything other than a Kiribi lighter **Q: Would they work in a Douglass L lighter ?** A: These flints are the same size as your standard lighter flints. They should fit any standard lighter. However; the Ziribi flints are much softer than the other flints. This allows the Kiribi to create a shower of sparks to properly light a Kiribi. I am certain that the Kiribi flints will fit any lighter. However; Do NOT use the cheaper flints in a Kiribi! This will not work.
