VPI's Waterproof Case Side RJ45 CAT5e Connectors are designed to be panel mounted to a weatherproof enclosure. These connectors are perfect for harsh industrial or outdoor environments and feature IP67 rated waterproof and dust protection. Requires RJ45-5EWTP-CB cable side gland and RJ45-5EWTP-CAPT for a complete waterproof connection. Package includes one Waterproof CAT5e RJ45 Feed-Thru Coupler. These are my go-to bulkhead cable glands for RJ-45. I mostly install these on pelican cases, with some going on vehicle bodies. They seem to seal up well and are easy enough to install. They do have a flat side so you can avoid torque issues causing them to unseat.One star off since they sell the cap separately for when you don't have the matching cable hooked up.

    .  This combo makes for a pretty expensive solution but it works very well. My cable was pre-terminated but it slipped right in.The unit delivered to me came with only one red gasket.  The illustration shows two.

I used this for a reverse camera hookup. I have one camera back of truck, spliced this in so the AV2 runs out to trailer. Cat5 cable is great for this, allowed me to run a single cable for low amperage camera and vid signal.  I used the hole where my spare tire lowering hole is to mount this, had to make two small alum fender washers.Idea is to plug in cat5 from trailer along with 7pin, when in reverse the trailer camera overrides the trucks camera. Works great.I did attach a 12" tail on the inside end and potted with silicone since its not technically in a box.
