My hair is real dry after using these. Do i meed to whole set for my hair to get soft?** A: You shouldn't need the entire line. Are you also using a deep conditioner once in a while? 4&5 should not be causing dry hair but if yours is you need moisture. Olaplex only heavily addresses chemical damage to the disulfide bonds by bleach, color, etc so it's attention to dryness isn't the brand's main focus. I use 4P, 5, 3, and 6 but i still need to deep condition every 3 weeks or so. You can try #6 as it's a smoothing product and might help dry ends but I'd try a really good deep conditioner like Briogeo's Don't Despair mask (Olaplex has 08 but it doesn't moisturize as well IMO). Also, it could be buildup! 04 is sulfate-free if I remember right, so try a clarifying shampoo and see if that helps with the dryness. **Q: Contains dimethicone? Isn’t that part of the lawsuit that involves the hair falling out?** A: I use this and it is a glorious shampoo! My hair and all my friends, no way is our hair falling out! I am in my late 40s and have thin, dry, color damaged hair. My hair has been frizzy and I could only wear a ponytail and even in that it would become a tangled rat mess. I have tried 100s of dollars in products from Keratin hair treatments, Aveda products, Nexus, Pantene, Its a 10, blowouts EVERYTHING under the sun and nothing was working. I was ready to shave my head and start over. Then I found this and read soooo many reviews and said shoot all I have to lose is more money. So for my fine, thin, color/highlighted damaged hair I got the 4/5 shampoo and conditioner, weightless nourishing mask,#3 Bond building hair and the #9 Bond Protector. My hair is now SOOOFFFTTT, not frizzy even when it is humid out (I live in the desert) so not many humid days until recently. This is all in just 3 days!!! Day one I used the Shampoo and Hair mask with already noticeable difference, Day 2 and 3 I used only the shampoo and conditioner. I started with the small bottles at $30 each and I am so far very pleased and plan on once I run out getting the larger bottles. I will tell you that you need a very very small amount of shampoo, it goes a LONG ways. The conditioner maybe a nickel size amount as it also goes a long ways. When I first used this and was done rinsing my hair, it did not feel soft and I was thinking okay I am going to not have fun brushing my wet hair and it was going to be a waste of money. Boy I was fooled. even though my hair did not feel soft and slick after conditioning, the wet brush I use as always just glided thru my hair with such ease.
