This fan is a beast in more ways then one, it moves a lot of air, but with the air movement it does get ramped up on noise. If you are looking for a more quite solution then this would probably not be the fan for you. in saying that you could use this fan at lower speeds and the noise is not as noticeable. I choose to run the fan at max speed when my PC hits a certain temp threshold. i have noticed a huge difference in overall temps and heat lag on my system. It has been solid as I use my PC daily for numerous hours and has not skipped a beat, no bearing noise, or anything. I highly recommend this fan for anyone, just be aware the faster it turns the louder it will get so set your fans speeds to your liking.
