Product mixes well in shaker. I will continue to use product but will alternate with other proteins.

**Q: Can someone please write a decent review on the product results? Does it really help in recovery? Muscle strength,size, gains, etc? Thanks!**
A: It's just a protein powder like any other. You will gain muscle strength if you work out and eat enough protein, be it from eggs, whey, soy,  red meat, chicken or fish. It helps with recovery about as much as any other protein product with similar macros and calories. We drink it at my house as a meal replacement for breakfast.

**Q: Is this product made in the USA?**
A: I can't find any indication of the actual source of the product, but the packaging says that the distributor is Amazon @ Washington, USA.

**Q: How does this protien compare to Gold Standard? What have you noticed?**
A: The 'vanilla ice cream' flavoring of Own Pwr Whey Protein Isolate is practically identical to Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein.  It's not as strong, but doesn't have to cut through as much lactose.  Also, when stirring with a spoon or using a shaker bottle, Own Pwr Whey Protein Isolate mixes much easier.  Oddly the Own Pwr 'vanilla ice cream' whey blend only has "mixes easier" over Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein.  That stuff has a butterscotch flavor that enhances any 'chemical aftertaste' of anything eaten/drank around the same time.

**Q: Is normal it has a metallic taste at the end?**
A: No I don't think so, I didn't taste that.

I've tried a couple other protein powders and so far this one is the best. Taste is ok. Usually drink one in the morning and after workout. The bcaa's seem to help with soreness. Just ordered the 5lb tub.
