A: I did a web search and according to the results Sevin will kill Lecanium scale.

**Q: effective on grasshoppers?**
A: Yes - Will knock out most grasshoppers and insects. This is a broad spectrum product and not knowing exactly what kind of grasshopper you are are asking about I think it will do the job.

**Q: does this work for lady bugs?**
A: Hi, as long as the insect is in contact with the plant that has Sevin on it, it will kill pretty much everything (including bees so be careful not using it too much).

**Q: Is this for four, 1-gallon items? Not in description**

Fighting Japanese beetles!! This works pretty good on all my flowers and pepper plants. Only problem is I have to spray often because it want stop raining! I’ve used this for years on flowers and vegetables.
