Review: Great Purchase - My daughter asked for this for Christmas and we purchased it thinking it would be like most toys she has--adored for a day or two and then forgotten. Instead, this has become one of her favorite toys of all time. The hatching experience was really captivating and then the robotic animal is so well programmed that we all fell in love with it. The sound effects are great and it is life-like enough that she really thought of it as her baby. She would get stressed when it cried, she asked us to babysit it when she had to leave it for a short while, and she generally cared for it like a mother. Instead of casting it aside after a few days, she loved it constantly for two months until it broke. She was devastated but the company is great and has agreed to send us a new one. This was one of our best all time toy purchases and the toy designers deserve many kudos. This is a high compliment given that we have historically banned talking toys from our house, yet we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the replacement Hatchibaby.

**Q: Is there a way to get this toy before Christmas?**
A: Order a month ahead. Prime membership.

**Q: Daughter has hatchababie. Eyes stay green & do not change. No sounds, nothing. How do i fix this????**
A: This is a known issue, so if it's still under warranty, contact Spin Master.  They should send a replacement.

**Q: What species are the ponette and and cheetree supposed to be?**
A: Hi there, the Hatchibabies are hybrid species! They are based off crosses between two animals; a pony and a bird for the Ponette, and a Cheetah with a different type of bird for the Cheetree. Hope this helps!

**Q: Please explain the difference Cheetree and Ponette? do both come with accessories? thank you**
A: I get 2 girls and 1 boy. both of them i getting accessories.

My daughter asked for this for Christmas and we purchased it thinking it would be like most toys she has--adored for a day or two and then forgotten. Instead, this has become one of her favorite toys of all time. The hatching experience was really captivating and then the robotic animal is so well programmed that we all fell in love with it. The sound effects are great and it is life-like enough that she really thought of it as her baby. My granddaughter really loves her hatchimal that I gave her for Christmas. She got a different one last year and when I saw this one on Amazon I just had to get for her. It is so cute with the little swing and it turned out to be a baby boy. Her mom is also having a boy. So it was perfect. Best price I found.
