When we received these trees, they were extremely small and we were okay with that; however, they did not look healthy. We planted them right away. It is now Spring time and they should be blooming, but they are not. They are just sticks sticking up out of the ground. There are no blooms on these trees what so-ever. The trees I received are very small, they can be planted in a flowerbed. **Q: will this grow in zone 10/11?** A: Not only will it grow, it will thrive! We have lots of customers in Puerto Rico, the USVI and FL Keys that grow crape myrtles with great success. They may not drop ALL their leaves in winter, but they will still enter a state of suspended growth over winter when there are less hours of daylight. But they always bloom longer and emerge from dormancy much faster in zones 10 & up. **Q: Can I container plant the crepe myrtle for my patio?** A: Absolutely! Crape myrtles do great in containers, especially dwarfs and miniatures. This is one of the main reasons they are so popular as bonsai trees. **Q: What zone is 80016? Can I plant crepe myrtle?** A: I am in zone 8, in North Carolina. I don't know, or haven't heard of a zone with that many numbers.
