The jam middle is also quite generous per mini wheat making them seem reasonably sweet and mouth watering, enough in fact to eat plain (without milk) in case you ever pop them in a Tupperware box to eat on your commute like I do (without risk of mess/spillages everywhere). One thing I can say is that I couldn't really pick up on any notes if vanilla however, but this didn't actually affect my taste experience or enjoyment. Ps.
