None of us want a tool shooting metal at us when it fails, and powerbuilt seems to be built not for power, but to ensure no failure events. My other kits are: separators and bushing press. Both amazing powerbuilt kits for the complete home mechanic. It has a light coating of oil to prevent corrosion during transit and has been sufficient in use with my FordF150 and Nissan Frontier. Made short work of my lower ball joints on the F150, a better job than the rental set from O'Reillys for sure. I used impact guns rated at 300 and 1400 pounds with confidence, and the tool held up without any issues whatsoever.
