It's light weight makes it perfect for warmer weather, when you want a jacket to accessorize or cover up, but don't want to be hot. There are just a couple of things you may want to know before buying: it wrinkles fairly easily, and it runs a bit small. I'm usually 2x in shirts and 3x in jackets, as I like a slightly loose fit on my jackets to accommodate any shirt I may be wearing underneath (i.e. puffy sleeves, thicker sweaters, etc.). I'm glad I did, because while fits perfectly, it doesn't leave the extra room I usually prefer, meaning I can only really wear simpler shirts underneath it.
