It is large enough to fit multiple items such as perfumes and lotions, well constructed and sturdy enough to carry with you but lightweight so it doesn’t feel too heavy. The zipper held up despite my constant use and the interior material reassured me that it can withstand spills. Initially I didn’t know how I felt about the gold knobs at the top, but they assured me that the handle would not detach easily and were added not only for decoration but to secure the handle in place. It is well designed, did not fall over like the less expensive version. The two compartments is a plus, allowing me to place smaller items and a larger mirror in one and larger items in the bottom. The removable insert is also a plus. If I have one complaint it’s that I cannot get it in more colors. I purchased a black one and plan to purchase more before my special event, but would love to see a burgundy and pink, as well as a cream too.
