multi purpose - cleaner

Review: The solution to invisible biting bugs!!! - I had been dealing with invisible biting bugs for the past year. We tried steam cleaning the carpets, with no results. I vacuumed every day, but it was exhausting and didn't make much of a difference. I sprinkled borax and diatomacious earth on the carpet and furniture, which did nothing but make it hard to breathe and clog up the vacuum. Two exterminator companies made various visits and took different samples but were not able to find any evidence of bugs. I concluded that the bugs had to be microscopic and found a huge discussion about this issue on the desertcart review for Kleen Free. Before using enzyme cleaners, the only thing that gave me relief was insect repellants, which are not healthy to use long term. Two dermatologists confirmed the bug bites but said they didn't seem like scabies; one just gave me a steroid cream for the bites. The bugs mostly targeted me but occasionally bit my husband as well. I wasn't getting any sleep at night from the biting, and had to hide all the scabs on my arms and legs when going out. When I first started using enzyme cleaners like Kleen Green, I sprayed the bed and couch and washed laundry with it. I felt relief in the places sprayed and could tell that the laundry was bug-free. But after an hour or so in the apartment, I would get bites again. The reason was that the bugs were everywhere and somehow still coming into the apartment. Thankfully, a job transfer allowed us to move. During the move, we got rid of all of our clothing, furniture, and most of our belongings. The few things we saved, I washed/cleaned with enzyme cleaner. It was a costly and time-consuming move, but I had to make sure it was all gone. The biting stopped for a couple of months. Then during the holidays, we visited my aunt. Unfortunately I had previously stayed with her during our infestation, and the bugs seemed to have infested her place too (although she denies any of her family getting bit). While we were there, they bit me and hitched a ride back to our new place through our clothes/luggage. Then they began to spread in our new apartment. The bites seem to happen in certain areas - while using the computer, on the couch, on the floor of the baby room, around the coffee table, and in our bed. Previously at our other place, we weren't very diligent about our bug cleaning regimen. This time, I put bug-proof covers on the mattress, box spring, and pillows to prevent the bugs from hiding inside. Whenever I felt biting, I would immediately remove my clothes and put them in the washer (to be later washed in the enzyme cleaner). If I was bit in a particular area on the carpet, I would soak the area with the enzyme solution using my Bissell Little Green carpet cleaner, which had a spray function that allowed continuous spraying. If I was bit while in bed, I would immediately remove any bedding for washing with the enzyme cleaner and then use my Bissel Little Green Machine to spray the mattress and pillows with the enzyme cleaner (without removing the bug-proof covers). A place where I often was bit was sitting at the computer, so I would often spray the computer desk/chair/keyboard/mouse. When the infestation was bad, I sprayed my whole body once a day and did immediate spot spraying wherever I got bit (soaking the area on my clothing down to the skin). I sprayed down cars (seats, carpet, mats, seat belts, etc), since I were getting bites there too. I also made sure my family sprayed bug spray before we went to visit my aunt. For the first 3 months, I was using up about two of the 128 oz concentrate bottles each month. The biting slowly decreased, and I went down to one bottle a month. After 6 months, I only needed one or two spot sprays on my clothing/skin per day. One great thing about Kleen Green is that it comes with a helpful pamphlet with instructions on how to get rid of different bug problems (scabies, pubic lice, fleas, mites, bed bugs, fleas, and how to use for pets). It will tell you the amount of cleaner to use, how often to use it, and the methods of application. This pamphlet was very helpful! Currently there are three enzyme cleaners available: Kleen Green, Kleen Free, and Nature's Eradicator. I've used all three, and they all work to get rid of bugs. There are three reasons I prefer Kleen Green over the other two. Kleen Green is a lot less soapy, which is GREAT if you're applying it on your skin. Also, Kleen Green doesn't have much of a smell (the other two smell like vinegar). Lastly, it comes with a free spray bottle. However, I tend to buy whichever one is cheapest at the time. The free sprayer bottles are hit or miss. I've had some that didn't consistently spray the last 1/3 of the bottle, and some that were really good. When it is good, the adjustable spray creates a fine mist and sprays with less effort than a regular spray bottle. It is also bigger than the spray bottle I got at Walmart and has ounce measurements on the side for good reference. One caution about the bottle is that it has some sharp points on the bottom part of the sprayer that will poke holes on your thumb unless you hold the bottle with both hands. But if you're buying as many bottles as I was, you'll sure to get a few good bottles in there. If you have an infestation, I highly recommend the Bissell Little Green Machine, which I put the cleaner in instead of the regular solution. It allows me to spray continuously (and saving my trigger finger) - especially great for really soaking the carpet so that they little buggers have nowhere to hide! If you have an invisible biting bug problem, you definitely need to get this. And you do really need to get the largest size. Yes, it is expensive but you also don't want to skimp out, especially in the washing machine, which probably requires about 3-4 oz for each load (make sure to dissolve the solution in the water *before* adding duvets or thick items). You need to hit it hard when it starts so that it doesn't spread until it's everywhere. And I would also suggest that you don't take any luggage and go sleep over at anyone's house until you get this problem under control. I have heard of a lot of other products people are using for these types of bug problems like dehumidifiers and essential oils, but I have found that consistent and immediate use of Kleen Green was enough to solve our problem. I honestly feel that getting rid of all our stuff in the past was unnecessary. I believe that we could have overcome the infestation if we had just gotten zippered bug-proof bedding covers, replaced our microfiber sofa with leather, and committed to using Kleen Green diligently for a few months. And no, I don't work for this company :-)
Review: I LOVE IT, BUT ONE MUST KNOW HOW TO USE IT & WHAT TO EXPECT. - STOPPED THE BITES FROM SOMETHING WE COULD NOT SEE We had a brush with something brought into our home from the yard or rescue animals. It appeared to be a persistent and growing issue. Before finding this product, we tried many things that did not work. With use over a little time, this worked and did not leave behind a chemical or perfume smell. It is not a poison, therefore, leaves behind no toxic residue. The downside to a non-poison solution was that we had to keep using it for a while to get rid of whatever might be hatching out. For us, it was important that we had something we could spray all over the house without concern for possible toxins to small animals or damage to our home. Humans and pets can bathe in it (though you should check with your vet/doctor). Also, all animals and humans in a household must be treated at the same time, e.g., if there are fleas or mites, see a vet and get the animals on a product such Revolution or similar product while using this to take care of the home, humans, etc. As things began to improve, we found it prudent to taper back use, gradually spreading out the use of it as opposed to just quitting all at once. I believe this helped us cover anything that might have hatched after initial treatments. Though I would not expect this to be called an air freshener, I found that after I'd sprayed a room (maybe 15-20 minutes later), the room smelled fresh--no scent left behind--just fresh. It is not cheap, however, if you compare to some competitors, be sure to consider the dilution ratios of each. You may find this is not much more expensive--if at all. As a cleaning product, it did a great job cleaning my makeup brushes. I used it in the laundry as well. As an enzymatic deodorizer, I found it necessary to repeat the application more than once, but have found that to be the case with other similar products. We keep it on hand and use it any time we even suspect a problem--to prevent it from starting or expanding. I sprayed it all over the house and pre-treated laundry too with absolutely no harm to humans or small animals and no damage to anything in the house. I have no relationship with the company and get nothing in return for this review. It was in the course of a lot of research that someone mentioned this product in a review elsewhere (saying it was the solution that worked) and I decided to try it. Wish I'd found it sooner, but am so glad someone took the time to pass on their experience. I am passing this on because I hope the information here might help someone. TIPS NOT COVERED ABOVE PRESSURE SPRAYER. We bought a new handheld, pressure sprayer (not previously used with any product) and mixed in that and used it to spray the house because of the finer mist it produces and it was easier on the hands. TEST LIGHT FABRICS. Test an inconspicuous area on light-color or fragile fabrics before using it. I used it as a stain remover on some white denim shorts. I had to reapply, but it did work! It left behind a faint, light tan water stain, which came out in the wash. No damage was sustained, but if you have a fragile or light-colored fabric that cannot be washed, the color of the product could leave behind a water mark. FILL TUB WITH WATER FIRST. We found that for a bath, it was best to fill the tub and THEN add the product. Otherwise, it makes too many soap bubbles and puts it in the air.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This stuff is expensive but amazing and safe for people and pets I am so excited to share this.

Fabulous no smell helps with my cleaning house with 5 cats. The cat smell is gone. Safe for my pets. Helped me get rid of ear mites infestation. I even spray the cat box walls every time I clean the litter box and by the next morning the plastic is clean. That’s amazing. My husband is always itching his head. I have changed his shampoo many times and I could not see any thing on his scalp. So every night I spray his scalp with the Kleen Green and I washed all his hats in it and his bedding. No more scratching. I battled with my indoor cats getting ear mites. I took one to the vet for a whopping $170 for a mite topical treatment and ear cleaning and some medicine for his infected ear. I could not afford to take all the rest in at that price and the vet would not sell me any product to help them so so I tried the Kleen Green as a cat shampoo mixed with Baby shampoo after putting Coconut oil on their eyes to protect them. I gently swished the ears with the product and rinsed them dried them with Kleenex I put in some coconut oil to kill the mites. For a week every day I dapped a little Kleen Green in the entrance of the ears and after a week no more mites and shaking their heads. Poor things so glad this product works. I found it on line after searching for a natural cure.
