I wanted to be able to wear it over sweatshirt and winter sweater. It is fine. If I bought another one I would get a medium. As you might deduct, I think they are great. They are pretty warm but, unlike a pullover sweater, you can unzip if you get too warm. They go very nicely with jeans and I find the fit very flattering. They have been a go-to for me this winter. For a utilitarian piece of clothing that is so reasonably priced, they look good. I’m quite pleased with them.I wear a Medium in tops and the Medium in this jacket has the fit I want. It is a more fitted jacket, not boxy. Some may find it too fitted for comfort or a good fit. Only the light grey jacket’s zipper got damaged after several washes but the rest are still good. Great for layering. Not the most fashionable but functional. I work as a nurse so these are nice to layer on to keep warm as a basic under a thicker coat during the heavier winter months. I wouldn’t wear during patient care since they are quite warm and fleecy but I find them handy to have since they don’t cost much but are a good quality for the level of warmth.
