The stock regulator wouldn't get my griddle hot enough to cook . I tried everything to make it work better but nothing helped. I purchased this and installed it . it was a night and day difference. I would recommend this to anyone who has a balckstone . The pressure gauge doesn't work on mine but you don't need it. Just dial it in by eye and roll on. Just be aware, if someone else messes with the dial it can make this into a flame thrower.
