Percussion Plus PP636 Thunderer

Bought this to use with primary school children, making the sounds of the rainforest...It produces the most fantastic sound and you really can play it like an instrument, building the volume up and down again. Very simple and incredibly effective. The kids clamour to have a turn!

Product is extremely well made and attractive to look at. Makes extremely realistic thunder sounds yet such simple construction. Extremely good value and fun for all ages.

It is amazing as a generator of thunder and in conjunction with Swanee whistles will make interesting scores!

I was so looking forward to using this for a dramatic effect next week. But straight out of the box, I give it one shake... and the end fell off!I can't give it more than one star – I don't even want to give it one – unless the manufacturer can send proof that this was a one-off, and do so before I need it...

Gives a brilliant thunder sound, very easy to use and the aboriginal style decoration is very attractive. The one small issue I have is that the inside is only painted about an inch down from the top so you can see the brown cardboard further down. This is only a tiny issue with a product that looks and sounds brilliant though.
