But if the fish is on for more than 3 seconds (meaning it's hooked and not just pulling your bait with it's mouth closed, it's going to be in the boat or on the shore in short order. It's extraordinarily rare for a fish to become unbuttoned using these hooks. The one thing I don't like about them is that they are more prone to rust than some other hooks.
