Being a senior balance is key in the ageing process. The ball is not difficult to mount. The smaller version at my gym was more difficult to get started on. The platform is very sturdy and the inflatable rubber half sphere seems of heavy duty quality. Only inflate from 8 1/2 to 10 inches from the floor. I'm glad I read that before I inflated mine.
