Insert two 1.5V AA batteries into the battery compartment according to the polarity label then replace cover. 3. Push the teeth lever down to release the comb’s teeth, it is now read to use. 4. During operation, hold the handle keeping the button pushed down, the LED indicator lights up. When any conductor or small wingless insects (like fleas or ticks) come into contact with the charged comb’s teeth, they discharge a high voltage, the LED indictor light goes off and the unit emits a buzzing sound. 5. If there is no buzzing sound or hair is attached to the comb’s teeth, clean the teeth using a brush. 6. After combing your pets, put the lever back to protect the teeth.
