The output voltage would match the input voltage, not increase or decrease it. **Q: Is this a continuous duty relay ?** A: As far as I know it is, I used it to replace my cars blower relay and when that's on it stays on until the end of the drive 20 min to 2 or 3 hours. So I would say yes. **Q: Does this relay make a sound when it closes/opens the circuit?** A: Yes it does when you install it and turn on the item or you can test it with a 12 volt source, if it doesn't make a clicking noise than it is no good and needs to be replaced. **Q: What amperage rating is this relay?** A: Hi, I looked on the relay and did not see a amperage rating.
