This was confirmed by Ambient's OUTSTANDING tech support. Uses only 2 screws. Easy setup. Simple flip of a dip switch to designate the remote number and insert 2 AA batteries. The console connects very quickly with the sensor close by. Since this connects to the WS2000 I can place it anywhere I want and I can read it from my WS2000 console or my smart phone.I bought 2. One for the backyard and one for the garage.
