I tried the formula but didn’t use the surfactant. The formula worked really well but this time, because there was a chance of some rain, I ordered this surfactant and added it to the formula. Whoa nellie, this stuff is dynamite with the surfactant. It even killed the annoying ivy we have on one of the fences. Supposedly this surfactant helps the herbicide stay on the leaves to penetrate the waxy coating on some plants. Well whatever it does it makes the herbicide way more effective. This bottle is a really good value too. I looked for it at other stores but this is a great deal. You only add one teaspoon per gallon of herbicide.
