No instructions included.** A: Hello, When you are putting on a new blade, the button does not need to be pressed. Press firmly against the back of the cartridge in the holder, making sure that the black button is facing the top rear of the Green strip. Once locked in place, slide the cartridge out. If a cartridge is outside of the case, hold the blade between your fingers carefully and press against the journal arms to lock. Once finished with a blade, press the button forward to remove the blade. **Q: How long do they retain their sharpness?** A: I was giving a response to that same question, when it went into my answer.
