How strong will it hold** A: I have used this tape often to hold a plastic sheet material to a wooden template for routing the plastic. I have never seen evidence of residue from the tape on the plastic or the wood after use. The tape is really very strong for my use. I find that using only enough tape to cover approximately 10% of the surface area of the template works very well to hold the plastic for routing work. I am making flags. Thanks** A: I don't know why not, but I would test it on a scrap piece of the stained material before using on the actual project. They claim the tape leaves no residue and I found no evidence of one on bare wood.
