I use it to make an Italian candy called Torrone which requires a top and bottom layer of the wafer paper that covers the gooy nuget in between. **Q: What does the grade mean?** A: The grade refers to the thickness of the paper. Has anyone had this problem?** A: The rice paper should never melt onto the cake, the proper way to place rice paper images on a cake is using a thin layer of fondant under the paper. Brush some water on the fondant (all over) and then place the paper on top of the fondant . Start with the center then work your way out . . Then you place on the cake .
