**Q: How accurate is the compass?**
A: The compass is very accurate! I got this for my husband as a gift on our wedding day along with the "Wenshida Antique Half Hunter Mens Black Retro Blue Roman Numerals Dial Mechanical Pocket Watch" and he LOVED them both! The chain length is not very long, but was perfect for him personally. It has such an elegant and unique design. I highly recommend this compass!

It is an accurate compass, free floating with no oil or water. I couldn't figure out if the sundial is functional but it's a great compass if nothing else. Even if the sundial doesn't work you can use the sundial arm as a means of sighting a distant object for navigation. Didn't come with a chain but it's not pictured with one anymore so no surprise. It's about the size of a standard pocket watch, fits nicely in the center of the palm of my hand. Very solidly built. Very pleased.
