## Description

Atlas 150 Roller, from the Marcato Classic line, is the machine for making home-made pasta, fitted with wider rollers so that you can make 150 mm sheets of pasta. Thickness of the sheets, between 4.8mm and 0.6mm, thanks to its 10-position regulating knob. The pasta machine comes with a clamp, so you can attach the model to your table, as well as a handle. It is also equipped with a bayonet fitting so that the Pasta drive motor can be connected to it, making it easier for you to prepare your pasta. The structure is in chrome-plated steel, whereas the rollers are anodized aluminium alloy so that no metals are released onto the dough.

Review: As good as it claims - I have been using it regularly since about a month. In all aspects it does what it claims. The best part is, Chappatis,Rotis, Poori come out perfectly as well as other "stuff" that you can make: Samosa Patti, South India Sweet "Madatha Kaaja", even Paani Pooris etc. Go for it. The only downside to rolling chapatis, pooris with this is that the size is small limited to 15 cms. If you want your chappatis/rotis, pooris to be bigger, then they come out elongated ellipses or rectangular :-) Two things I find the manufacturer could have done better is: 1. The handle given to roll the dough comes off and keeps falling down, as there is no locking mechanism. They should have designed it in such as way that the handle is locked. 2. The clamp to fix the pasta roller to a table/bench is not very good. It should have been better designed. Edit after a year of usage: The clamp broke off. For a Rs 7K plus machine, this should have been. Really bad design.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Widest width of dough that can be sheeted is 180 mm equals 7".  Is this correct maximum width??**
A: Yes mine is exactly 7” but I use mine for polymer clay. I’m presuming that if my clay can get clogged behind the rollers, than dough will as well. They aren’t easy to clean but you can strip them down of excess metal and win over half the battle. Google YouTube “dismantling a pasta machine for polymer clay use”.

**Q: how wide of a sheet will it make?**
A: 17.5mm or 6 3/4in.

**Q: Could this machine work for laminating croissant dough?**
A: I believe it can. I have never done it but there is a how to on Pinterest. Hope this helps.

**Q: is the crank handle black plastic or silver like the amazon picture**
A: The crank handle is black plastic, and the crank is chrome.  Remember, there are no attachments for this unit, and although I love it, I would not purchase it again.
