Review: Great Carb - I put this carb on my 95 Yamaha Warrior 350 due to the stock carburetor not being reliable after several rebuilds. this carb works well and the only things I had to buy to make it fit were a 90 degree adapter for the throttle cable, a longer throttle cable, and a different intake manifold.

I replaced the worn out stock carb on my 1978 XT500 with this carb and the bike starts easier and runs so much better now. I did have to re-jet the carb to work properly with my bike, but that's to be expected.

The Mikuni VM series of carbs are excellent. They are high quality, last forever, and are easty to tune. I replaced the worn out stock carb on my 1978 XT500 with this carb and the bike starts easier and runs so much better now. I did have to re-jet the carb to work properly with my bike, but that's to be expected.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Genuine Mikuni, Doesn't like ethanol

The carb is great and high quality like all mikuni's, but a word of warning. Do not use unstabilized ethanol fuel in this carb, it will corrode the aluminum and its a pain to clean once it does. If this problem does happen to you, clean it with carb cleaner and a wire brush to remove the corrosion and run some quality REC 90 through it and it should be fine. Make sure to clean your pilot jet as well.
