A good purchase. - The USB drive is small, has two sided male ports (USB A and USB C) which can slide out of the USB casing. Note: USB A is the general keyboard and mouse USB connector and USB C is apple's charging cable connector which now a days is common in most smartphones. The USB drive becomes hot when being used on USB C port for large transfers and is common. It can be plugged into mobile phones which has C type charging cable. The actual storage that you would get would be 114 GB. It would never be 128 GB as the rest is occupied by the drivers to run the USB drive. The drive supports exFAT (default) and NTFS file systems only. The actual transfer rate depends on a lot of factors like the type and generation of USB connector, the type of storage, processor, motherboard, etc. Transfer rates are good. I've tested it and shared the results below. The transfer rates may have gone down to 20 MBps in case of 50 MBps for HDD. The 600 MBps mark for HDD (3) went down to 80 MBps and remained constant. 1. USB A 2.0 (copying to and from SATA HDD) - maximum transfer rate up to 16 MBps 2. USB A 2.0 (Coping to and from NVME or SATA SSD) - maximum transfer rate up to 200 MBps 3. USB A 3.0 (Copying to and from SATA HDD) - maximum transfer rate up to 600 MBps 20 MBps 4. USB A 3.0 (Copying to and from NVME SSD) - maximum transfer rate up to 600 MBps and 50 MBps respectively 5. USB C 3.2 (Copying to and from SATA HDD) - maximum transfer rate up to 100 MBps and 50 MBbps respectively 6. USB C 3.2 (Copying to and from NVME SSD) - maximum transfer rate up to 130 MBps and 50 MBps respectively Review: Go for it - Good and reliable πŸ‘, I am giving the review after 3 years so experiences are observed. Portable, good speed, quality, and versatility are checked. I brought the 64GB version but if you are buying it right now you should go for at least 256 GB because today necessity of hardware storage has much more increased. ## Features - Easily transfer files between smartphones, tablets and computers - Retractable design with a reversible USB Type-C connector and a traditional USB Type-A connector - High-speed USB 3.1 performance of up to 150MB/s - SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android (available on Google Play) lets you easily manage and back up content on your smartphone and tablet - 5-year warranty by SanDisk ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XC1WGQR | | Additional Features | Retractable Connector | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,554 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #55 in Pen Drives | | Box Contents | Flash Drive,,,,,,,, | | Brand | SanDisk | | Brand Name | SanDisk | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Mobile, Tablet | | Country of Origin | Malaysia | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 103,231 Reviews | | Flash Memory Type | micro SD | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00619659154844 | | Hardware Connectivity Technology | USB Type C | | Hardware Interface | USB 3.0 | | Importer Contact Information | RASHI PERIPHERALS PVT LTD.,RASHI COMPLEX A BLDG, SURVEY 186, DONGARIPADA, POMAN, VASAI-E,THANE, MAHARASHTRA-401208 | | Item Type Name | Pen Drive | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 9.1 Grams | | Manufacturer | Plot 301A Persiaran Cassia Selatan 1 Taman Perindustrian Batu Kawan, MK13 Batu Kawan Seberang Perai Selatan 14100 Penang Malaysia, Sandisk Storage Malaysia Sdn Bhd | | Manufacturer Contact Information | Plot 301A Persiaran Cassia Selatan 1 Taman Perindustrian Batu Kawan, MK13 Batu Kawan Seberang Perai Selatan 14100 Penang Malaysia | | Manufacturer Part Number | 164113 | | Memory Storage Capacity | 256 GB | | Model Name | Ultra | | Model Number | 164113 | | Network Connectivity Technology | USB | | Number of Items | 1 | | Packer Contact Information | Plot 301A Persiaran Cassia Selatan 1 Taman Perindustrian Batu Kawan, MK13 Batu Kawan Seberang Perai Selatan 14100 Penang Malaysia | | Read Speed | 150 Megabytes Per Second | | Special Feature | Retractable Connector | | UPC | 619659154844 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Write Speed | 150 MB per second | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SanDisk - **Hardware Interface:** USB 3.0 - **Memory Storage Capacity:** 256 GB - **Special Feature:** Retractable Connector - **Write Speed:** 150 MB per second ## Images ![Ultra Dual Drive Type-C 256GB, OTG, Upto 150MB/s, Pendrive, 5Y Warranty (SDDDC2-256G-I35) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/516O7zISveL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: wait, does this have both a type c and a type a connector?** A: Yes if you slide it one way, the Type C connector is revealed. Then when pushed the other way the Type A connector is revealed. **Q: Is there a way to attach this to your key chain?** A: There is a tiny cutout on the rear which presumably is intended for a (thin) keychain or thread loop. But it's so small as to be useless in most cases; I have a lanyard clip attachment with super thin bungee cord to thread onto things like this, and it doesn't fit. I tried to attach the very small split ring from my Swiss Army knife on it, and it was pretty much impossible. You will be hard-pressed to find something which can attach to this. It makes me regret picking this model, as I personally need something that can be clipped on and off from a lanyard. **Q: Will this lock (with a click) in the center, closed position?** A: Yes, but it doesn't lock outside of the center very well, I have to hold it from moving to put it into the usb port. **Q: Will this flash drive fit side by side next to the power cable on a late 2016 MBP? Apple have given very little room it seems to me.** A: Yes, it should fit right next to the power cables as long as the switch is facing you instead of facing the power cable. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple and easy to use.
