**Q: does this smell like the shaving cream ?**
A: No it doesn't. It has a musk type scent to it. Its the only aftershave my wife likes on my face.

**Q: Does this smell like Old Spice?**
A: Nope...not even close.
It is oil based,old school man smell from the barber shop days. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
And the shaving soap smells good too.

**Q: I have read the reviews and I’m confused does the last a few hours or a couple of minutes?**
A: It’s like a weak cologne.  Strong for the first few minutes, but not much after an hour

**Q: How does this compare to the balm?**
A: The balm is a cream and this is alcohol based. I remmcend balm for dryer skin and this if you are on the oily side.
