The days start out cold, and then, they warm up a little, before cooling off, again, in the evening; that is what makes this thinner, breatheable sweater perfect--not too hot, not too cold. The material is very soft and is not clingy. I really like the curved hemline, which flatters your waist and hips and is very forgiving if you have a baby belly pooch, after having kids. ;) The solid Maple color is rich and BEAUTIFUL.
